Yay, it’s my 1 year anniversary of meeting Gwen! I wrote this after i met her, so i’ll post it again!
“Yesterday, september 10, I woke up at 2am to embark on my journey to NY. I got there in an hour and a half, and looked for sephora. We found it fast, so my dad dropped me off and he went to find a parking spot. I met many wonderful No Doubters, some of which knew me and dad from the forum and twitter! He came back and we waited 6 hours for the store to open, and when it finally did everyone ran inside, grabbed their perfume, and got a wristband. When I got one, I was so happy I couldn’t believe it. The perfume was packaged in a cute bag and other goodies. My dad took me to where he works to rest. When we were done we got food and went shopping. New york fashion is very distinctive. There sure were many characters there. Then we took the subway to the Starbucks near sephora. We chilled there for an hour and a half, then went to sephora to see what was going on inside. There was makeovers, food and music. We hanged there then learned wristbandees had to line up outside, so me and my dad did that. About 15 minutes later they kicked out anyone who didn’t have a wristband, and let us in. My dad immediately lined up to meet Gwen while I got a makeover. While that was happening, the raffle to go to the LAMB show was going on. I didn’t win, but I was one number off. Then I went to line up with my dad, and the longest wait of all, to meet Gwen, began. We waited for about and hour and a half. People were being kicks out, servers served tea, water and ice cream, and tries to keep us entertained. There was a huge mob outside waiting to see Gwen as well. I knew she was there when I heard screaming on the back of the room. When I saw Gwen I started to cry! She went up to the glass door and display window wit the harajuku girls to let the mob outside see her! Then after she had pictures taken of her, the signing began. I was about the fifth person. When I went up I immediately began telling her how much I loved her and gave her an early birthday present I made her. She said she “awww! I’ll open it later!” then she signed my perfume. she is so nice and amazing beyond words. I kept talking to her and then the mean security guards told me to line up in the back. My dad got Gwen to sign pictures of my sisters, and thanked her for being a wonderful role model for me. I was so excited after meeting her! It was my dream come true. When the line moved to the beginning again, we got some more pics and videos of her. When she and the harajuku girls left, we all said we loved her and goodbye. I didn’t want her to leave! We all had to be escorted out, the me and dad went home. It was a once in a life time experience, and meeting Gwen was my dream come true!”
